 Koh Samui

We honeymooned in Koh Samui, Thailand in January 2003. What an unbelievably magical trip that was. We stayed on Bophut Beach which is a nice quiet beach on the north side of the island for a week. While it was the height of the tourist season, it never felt busy or crowded. We rented a gorgeous and romantic bungalow at Zazen. A lot of our trip was spent relaxing on the beach, but we still managed to get out and about to see most of the island. The Thai people were so friendly and we had a blast in Koh Samui. I can't wait to get back there.

 Maui

We visited Maui in May of 2005. It was our first time and hopefully it will not be our last. Maui is a nice sized island that we managed to cover almost every inch of in a week. Each part of the island has its own look and staying in one place was not an option for us. We started out with a couple of quiet days at the beach in Ka'anapali, then got to see the island by air in a helicopter ride. After that we took the big trip out to Hana, on one of the most beautiful and twisty roads I have ever been on.With the last couple of days we hiked in the Iao Valley, and hit the Big Beach of Makena which was my favorite beach on the island.
