There are around 400,000 foreign tourists and 4,000,000 Thai tourists visiting Kanchanaburi each year.

This resort in Kanchanaburi was established 4 years ago by a young Thai entreprenuer. Having recently started a family, for schooling reasons and because of other business interests in Bangkok, the owner has placed the resort on the market.

The total land plot is 7.5 Rai. The land plot is approximately 70 meters wide and 180m long and stretches from the road down to the river kwai, with approximately 70m of River front land. The extrance to the resort is well presented with traquil lighting during the evening and there is ample car parking for at least a dozen cars and several tour coaches. There is also a security hut that is currently manned during the night hours.

The main reception area is an open-air building measuring approximately 15m long by 5m wide. There is a lobby area and reception desk.

To the right of the reception area is the conference room. A separate building measuring approximately 20m long by 5m wide with a seating capacility of over 50 people. Ideal for corporate visitors.

In total there are 16 fully detached teak cottages, 8 of which are octagonally shaped and 8 are rectangular. The cottages are comfortably spaced with private terrace balconies and pleasant floral gardens. There is a main walkway that runs through the centre of the resort, meandering down to the river front.

From the total land plot of 7.5 Rai (12,000 sq.m. or 3 acres) currently only 6 Rai has been developed upon. The remaining 1.5 Rai is currently used as a volleyball area and unused open land. There is potential to develop further on this land, such as building up to 20 additional rooms as 2 story bungalows, and a swimming pool.

At the river bank the main restaurant and eating area is found. Currently only approximately 25m of river front is used by the outdoor seating area of the restaurant with an additional 45m of river front undeveloped. The current owner has plans to build an infinity swimming pool on this area, and quotes have been obtained. The price quoted was 1.6m Baht for a 18m long pool.

This resort is quite unique to Kanchanaburi, offering a taste of Thailand that other larger hotels cannot offer. This is one of the reasons that Grand Circle Travel has a contract with this Resort until 2009, paying 300,000 Baht per month to reserve 10 bungalows during August to April.
