It took me a little while, but I have warmed up to the Bellagio. I would like to thank age for allowing me to appreciate nice things and allowing me to afford a few of them too. I still don't have Bellagio bucks so I have never stayed here, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the grounds and can comment on that. Gambling at Bellagio I have only played the tables at the Bellagio once, but had a good time doing it. If you go there mid-week you can find some $10 tables to while away the day at. The dealers are all very friendly and can carry a conversation with you. I never got the feeling (unlike at some other places) that I was not worth their time either. The Bellagio Sports Book is a little piece of heaven. The place is gorgeous, the chairs are leather, the games are all on, and the drinks are free. If you like sports wagering then this is the place for you. It is by far the nicest sports book on the strip. Grounds The Bellagio is beautiful. That's really all I can say about it. On the outside you have the fountain show entertaining the masses. On the inside you have about as close as you can get to tasteful in Vegas. The pictures on the right are from a butterfly garden exhibit they had a few years back which was a real trip to visit. Food and Drink Good but pricey. The weekend brunch is not to be missed, although it took a couple tries for me to get to it. Be prepared for a line, be unprepared for a power outage (it happened to me once). The lounges are a nice place to unwind and enjoy a cocktail or two, but low key is the operating vibe at them.
