I am neutral on Caesar's Palace. Never stayed there, but have spent plenty of time there. Here is what I have to say about it:

Gambling at Caesar's Palace

I have never won here. I have never played a lot here. Part of the problem is that Caesar's always wants to card me. I am a young looking guy, but even into my 30's they were asking me for ID everytime I changed tables. The other part is that I am not a huge fan of the crowd that hangs out there. Can't really say why other than that I never got that friendly feeling at the tables.

The sports book is nice though. Comprehensive is another good word to use. When I first looked up at the boards I thought I was at mission control at NASA. They had action for everthing, and the area around the book is comfortable.

Forum Shops

Caesar's was one of the first places to add a mall to the casino with their Forum Shops. Its supposed to have a Roman vibe, the ceiling is painted, and the statues come to life through the magic of animatronics. I really like the Spago cafe as a place to grab lunch or dinner. Their meatloaf is amazing. I actually had a semi-close encounter with Michael Jackson while eating there. We were eating dinner and suddenly people started running towards the other end of shops. When our waitress came by I asked what was happening and she told me Jacko was shopping. After some hesitation, we decided to finish our food before joining the masses. By the it was too late and he had slipped out the back door like a smooth criminal.
