Code of Conduct

Children as you know, develop differently and at different rates. They react differently to the same pressures. In the SCCAAMFL we are trying to give young people who play a good and worthwhile experience. The relationship with the adults must be positive. Our kids are not playing to satisfy your ambitions. Teamwork and effort are as important as winning. Never ridicule or shout at the kids for making a mistake or for losing. Praise them or keep quiet. When the final touchdown is made, set an example, applaud good play for both teams. Never publicly question the referee's decision, never doubt his honesty, or integrity. Recognize the value and importance of our coaches who give up their time to help our young people. If you cannot abide by the code of conduct then we would insist that you do not attend our games. The League adopted a policy of withdrawing the registration of a player who has parents/guardians who fail to meet acceptable behavior at a loss of expenses you may have incurred upon joining our team.
